Good evening, new to the forum, new to Range Rover. Always had a desire to drive a RR and I have finally taken the plunge. I was always wary of the running costs, but decided you only live once so what the heck. I have purchased a RR Sport 3.0 SDV6 SE 2012, and it is a peach. It has a 2 year Land Rover warranty, 60k miles on the clock and is in my favourite colour, black.

Speak soon.

lovely looking landy ,

think we share virtually the same chassis and running gear, lol

good to see you've got a warranty and happy landy ownership

Welcome aboard :)

Looks very nice does that.

WAAAYYYY too much technology for me, but it sure looks nice ;).

Hope you don't need the warranty too much

Cheers. The 2 year warranty made the deal for me, can't grumble. But also the half day off road experience was kind of tempting too..

I shall be driving to Cannes, Nice and Monaco, then on to Florence, then back up under Mont Blanc before heading home via Paris, so I hope the technology does it stuff!

Sounds a nice trip does that - something I would like to do .... health permitting :( - especially having worked in most of the countries in Europe - though it seems like it was a lifetime ago now ;) - would be nice to re-visit them :).

Good luck on the trip, genuinely:). Post some piccies up, if you CBA - i, for one would like to see 'em :)

good having the warranty , as u can at least use it to iron things out within the first 2 x years of ownership

europe trip sounds awesome , would adore to also do that, along with taking my dogs, just to make it even more difficult , especially crossing back into the u.k. , lol

I really enjoy a driving holiday, and the wife likes the sun, so we combine the two. Having the car gives you a certain freedom, plus we can take what we need with us in the boot. If you do feel up to giving it a go, health permitting, start off by doing a shorter journey, maybe Brittany. The roads in France are set up for people to drive, with good road surface and plenty of rest stops on route. Roughly 15km between each rest stop. Certainly better than my normal journey on the A1, M25 and North Circular!
