this goes to everyone on this site,
i have had my td4 just over a week now and i am just beginning to enjoy it, after a few days driving the smoke from the back was getting bad, when i accelerated it would struggle and choke up.
then i found this website and quickly followed the links to a post by KUNGFU0210, he clearly had the same problems as me and as he did, i went to the dealers and changed the turbo hose (£6) and did the booster test before replacing the booster solenoid (£45). now it runs as it should, BRILLIANT.
i would not like to think how much time and money i would have spent at the dealers if i booked it in.
