mantec snorkel

i have a new mantec plastic snorkel (td5 300 tdi ) and i am not sure that it is up to the job it only secures to the wing with 2 bolts anyone had experiance of using one might change it for a southdown one so it might be going any help

2 bolts? is that the plastic jobbie?

there should be about 5 or 6 of them on a standard one.

southdown ones are better, but those that attach to the wing vent are ok if properly installed. Use lots of silicone between the joints to the wing and check the pipework.

yep got all the bolts to put the plate on to the snorkel i have lots of tiget seal but am still unsure abought its serious offroad use as tow bolts dont feel like it is sturdy enough
