Hi, I'm new to the forum, but as anyone, have been reading it for years.
I'm going to open the sump and check/replace the dreaded bolt. The mileage of my TD5 is about 170 000 km. I'm doing quite a few repairs on my truck, ordering lots of parts from Paddock spares. They offer only a Britpart oil pump sprocket bolt: http://www.paddockspares.com/lyp101400-bolt.html. This being such a significant issue and Britpart having its special reputation, do owners here think it differs significantly from the OEM, which can be found here for the same price: https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/pump-bolt-genuine-lyp101400-p-4680.html? It seems somehow fishy to me, that the price is on this bolt is the same, when everything marked OEM is usually times more expensive. Does anyone have an informed opinion on this?
