Hi All,

Discovery 2 TD5 2002

Recently got the dreaded M&S lights on the dash with absolutely no crank at all, firstly thought it was a dying battery so got a brand new one, still no difference. Bought a reconditioned xyz switch and fitted it correctly with the position set to neutral and the car was in neutral still no crank.

Since this time the battery was completely disconnected from the car I am assuming allowing the BCU to reset. I am also assuming the car is immobilised completely open now and has to be locked manually with the key as the buttons do not work on the fob or inside the car to electronically lock. There is no alarm or anything. Is it a new BCU required but I am still confused why the m&s lights are flashing.

Has anyone else had this issue

Cheers
