Hi Guys
I am the owner of a 2001 Freelander, 1.8 petrol, stationwagon, which I bought 2nd hand in March 2005, 30k on the clock then and I have almost doubled that now, converted to LPG so cheap running, but have replaced clutch twice, cylinder head gasket twice, all electrics on doors, water pump oh the list goes on....... I will report later that I could write a book about the garage where I bought it from and what I have been through in 31/2 yrs.

Welcome Luigi,
Post all yer woes & fixes - good info for us Freelanderers, but I've got to warn you, the tractor owners will laugh till their cows come home.

Aye , I was about to ask the bank manager for a loan then this credit crunch arrived, I thought I should cut down on the car miles and take the bus so that the car would last longer. Now I have to look for a rear diff as my mechanic mate told me it is on its way out.For Gods sake, he told me not to drive too far unless I was in the AA.
