Dear All, am about to complete full fluid change on the 90 200tdi. I note the txfr box uses Syntrax 75W90 & I use the same in my MGB V8 with an R380 manual box; I like Syntrax 75W90. So, can I also use Syntrax 75W90 in the 90 LT77...or should I use a Dexron/other ATF?

All advice welcome

Rgds

lt77 can have a standard type baulk ring or a coated baulk ring, they were designed to use atf and i would syick with thatbaulk rings are the only factor in what oils are suitable, gears and bearings would un equally happily on hydraulic oil to ep140 though the tick oils would overheat on long journeys
