Lt77 clutch or Transmission issue.

Greetings,
I have a Series III with a 200tdi/LT77 conversion. It has been sitting a couple years. I went to move it and the clutch went to the floor. I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders. I can not get the transmission to operate correctly. :
With the vehicle off i can select any gear
With the vehicle on and clutch depressed, i can not select any gear other than reverse, which grinds. I cannot even grind other gears.
If i place the vehicle in gear off and attempt to start it it will lurch (as expected) but will not if the clutch is depressed.

So it it seems the clutch is keeping the transmission from engaging the wheels, but is not allowing me to shift. Can someone narrow down whats happening for me? I can rebuild a motor but I am useless at this.

EDIT: I didnt adjust the clutch master correctly. . . .

Clutch has probally rusted to the flywheel.
If the brakes work….start in a gear & sometime jamming the brakes on frees it up

The above only works if you hold the clutch pedal down while doing it.
