Well to be honest I've only just started getting LRM, but last month's (July) had a special featurette on the P38 to celebrate it's 15th birthday (not it's 23rd as Autocar reported in their review of next year's Rangey). There wasn;t anything else P38 specific in there though and I've not really started this month's but no p38 stuff yet.

LRO never seems to have anything on P38s. They used to have one as a project vehicle for a while but had so many problems with it that they appeared to give up on it and quietly got rid of it.

I think both magazines are missing a trick as the P38 is at the age where enthusiasts now own and use them yet there are buggr all articles about them and no kit advertised for them. Yet kit does exist - it's just hard to find.

I assume that suppliers gear their adverts to the perceived readership and that because the magazines choose to largely ignore the P38 so do the advertisers.

Thinking about it, there's never very much RRC stuff in LRO either. It was suggested on the LRO forum that LRO change their name to Defender Monthly....:) Their workshop advice is often criticised.

Just my 2 pence worth.

Guy
