I had my 1996 RR 4.6 converted to LPG 2 years ago as I have a 50 mile daily commute mostly on small A and B roads. It has been great but now the valves have probably "burned out" as my local and reliable mechanic tells me. And this may be a common problem which may be too expensive to repair.

I was thinking of buying a later RR and converting but now am having second thoughts - if this valve problem is going to recur. Any experts out there with any advice on common problems with the RR LPG conversions?

I am a Land Rover fan having driven the things throughout my Army career..

That's a new one!

My 98 4.6 was converted about 70000 miles ago and it's still going fine.
