lpg help

father in laws got a 01 2.5 v6 with only 12000 on the clock considering gas convertion any advice on what convertion, type of tank and a rough idea of price would be much appreciated also does anyone know of an installer in north devon area

if he's only done 12000 in 6 years, will take him 127 million years to repay the cost of converting to LPG. more economic to leave it as is

i have ta agree wiff assie. . . .lot er hassle and it wunt pay yer back ,un more things ta go wrong

It will cost over £2000 to have a quality conversion done, this will NOT increase the value of the car. It will take a long time and a lot of miles to recoop the cost of the conversion.

A LPG tank of about 80 litres which will take up most of the boot space will need to be fitted. I would not imagine there is enough room to replace the petrol tank with a decent sized LPG tank
