Hi i am currently replacing the front turrets on my 90 as the old ones have had it. i already have a 2" lift fitted and was wondering if i fit lowered turrets wot effect they will have? Will they provide greater articulation or just lift the vehicle higher?? Also will i need to start fitting dislocation cones? Cheers

but you do get less upward travel shock gets full compressed earlier its all swings and round abouts again im afraid Jai

so are they worth getting? or just stick to standard? beraing in mind im plannin on changing the radius arms and stuff

It is however, at the expense of upward travel. :)

Massive amounts of travel and/or droop looks brilliant, but you have to rememeber that the lower (or drooping) wheel has less ground pressure and so more likely to lose traction.

....Oops beaten to it my Jai :D

Swivels are avaliable from Paddocks and QT Services or Tomcat Motorsport. Last time I looked into this they were about £230 for a pair. I know of one chap that got an engineering firm to weld and redrill them for him.

I can do the axle casing, but I'm not alone in that. Similar price as swivels for an exchange casing (assuming that the one supplied isn't rusty or leaking or dented :) ) .

Seems expensive, but if you fit castor correcting arms or bushes then you will more then likely need a wide angle or double cardon front prop and that will cost about the same.

There is a thread on here about lift kits and the pit falls. If you are going to get into it seriously then read that.

It all basically boils down to how much lift. In mild cases you will get slightly vague steering, increased UJ wear and/or front prop shaft vibration. This is why one of my first comments was to 'suck it and see' :)
