I have a 2004 TD5 with a R380 gearbox.
On overrun it makes a loud clicking noise, worse in gears 1,2 and 3. I think it is not there in 4th. The noise is related to engine revs, and it disappears if I touch the accelerator or put the clutch in. I can best describe the sound as like my bicycle used to sound when I put a piece of cardboard to catch on the spokes to make it sound like a motorbike. (I don't do it anymore).
