Hi
My names' Ed I live on Canvey Island Essex. I have had a few Land Rovers my first ever car was a Series 2a Lightweight FFR, then a few years later a Series 3 Lightweight FFR. Then a while later a 300 TDI CSW followed later by a Land Cruiser Colorado which I must confess was very good and the wife's favourite.
Now that retirement has come along I think it is about time for another soft top, preferably a 90 or Defender.
I sold my 300 TDI for a little over £3000 I was a little tatty but had a few scorpion bits and a Brownchurch roof rack about 18 months before they stopped making them, I cannot believe the price of them now!

Welcome to lz pal, the prices are mental tbh, a lightweight was my first landy white with a blue
canvas, sold it for 1500 quid then seen it a few years later for 9k.
Did you not learn the first time around. o_O
Njoy the forum ;)

Hi and welcome!

Your plans sound like just the ticket to a long and prosperous retirement! Aside from the expense and stresses of running a Landy... but judging by the great pics, you know that. And prices have gone mad now. A £3k Landy would need a lot more spent on it.

Good luck with the search. let us know how you get on.
