Hi everyone,
Im looking to trace my Dads series 3 Landrover, registration VNF 222L.
My dad taught me to drive in his Landcover at the tender age of 16, some years ago now.
Stormin Norman as he was known, loved his Landrover, he loved every part of it. One of my elder brothers spent many hours under the engine carrying out the necessary repairs and maintenance and has fond memories of the dark nights getting the Lady ready before Dad took us camping to Rhiw in Wales.
Dad passed away on the 7th of April this year. The saddest day of our lives.
He had a great send off, my sister reached out to the local Landy Club in Liverpool to find Landrover owners who were willing to help and let our family (7 children) and his grand children use their Landys to be part of the funeral procession, as we could not hire the five we needed for his funeral. 3 wonderful people answered our prayers and as you can see, the procession was amazing.
Dad sold his Landy, as his fledglings had left the nest and he realised his pride and joy was to big for him as he was getting on in his years. We've traced the owner in Cornwall who he sold her too.
Unfortunately they had sold her and did not have and details who the new owner was, but thinks they live on the East Coast of England.
Her registration is VNF 22L.
Im looking to trace the current owner as Id love to see her again and maybe buy her for my Dad.
Heres hoping.
Best Regards to you all
David
