I doubt it these days, car manufacturers are in love with complication, there is probably a menu of options from which you can choose, but only it you have diagnostics or are prepared to pay a stealer.I don't want to hear that beep nor to see the flashing light just to lock the b....y doors! (Female luddite and out of depth which is shallow). Surely there must be a one keystroke solution!
vous est francais?Thank you. My eyes glaze over. How can it have come to this - appalling. Something happened along the way. When I collected it, locking didn't make a sound. Must have been at servicing. God save us from techie. Is it worth it.... Non, non, et non....
Anglaise living in Francenon je ne suis pas française, mais francophone. Et vous?
Only on locking. I tend not to need to unlock as as long as I have the key it seems to be automatic when I approach.Just to confirm, this is only on locking not unlocking?

Then it's definitely a mislock alert, For info, if it only happened on unlock, that would indicate an interior protection sensor issue (or occasionally a security mismatch but I'll not go down that rabbit hole unless someone really needs to know!) There is a menu item for audible lock/ unlock alert, but your situation is not related to that.Yes only on locking. I don't need to unlock as I don't lock it. It may lock automatically (?).

I was thinking a mis-lock somewhere??Check (physically) that all the doors and boot are locking, the Evoque has audible mislocking alert (which cannot easily be turned off) this is the most likely cause if 'it just started one day'.
