Locking problems

Hi, new to the group.

we have a 2011 Freelander 2 with both driver and passenger door locking problems.

When you press the lock button on the key fob, the electric mirrors fold
but do not lock either of the front doors, when you try to open these the alarm goes off when in the lock position, this happens in lock and on super lock.

help please!

It's most likely the lock motor has failed, but a diagnostic read will confirm that.
If it turns out to be the lock motor, then you'll need two new lock assemblies.
