I have an 06 freelander freestyle that has no load cover in the boot. I would like to get one and wondered if they all originally had them?
Could anyone explain or better still show how they fit please.
Thanks
Alex

5 door uses a roller blind style cover which was standard on higher models but optional on earlier and cheaper models. I think in the end they became standard in later years. The roller bit has spring loaded clips either end to secure the roller tunnel in place at the rear of the seats. It mounts on the plastic bits at the side of the boot area. The roller pulls out and is spring loaded. When pulled out it hooks into some hook catching things either side to hold it in place. The blind is made of material.

3 door is a fixed hard type cover.

Have got an 06 Freestyle as well. It had one in when we bought it. I took it out to make more room for the dog, but now I can't find it.

The cover that is.. not the dog.

A cover from any Freelander should fit. They are dead easy to take in and out.

That's perfect thank you.
Could anyone answer.... Where the spring loaded clips fit, do all cars have this bit?
Mine has a rectangular hole but this is all however it does have the slots at the rear to lock it.

The ends are spring loaded and locating lugs on the bottom push into the two rectangular holes behind the seat .
