Liquid or gel wiring insulation???

Morning all the cabling to my petrol injectors is suspect and the insulation has cracked and split at the injectors leaving bare wire question is there a gel or liquid that can be put on that will harden and give insulation and separation as I do not want to replace the loom as the lpg is spliced into it

Hi Sandy,
We use scotchcast 2130 (by 3M) a lot where I work and it's great stuff for repairing and sealing cracked cable jackets. You can smear it on with a brush or pour it in a mold built from masking tape or similar.

Keep in mind that it goes off rather quickly, so work fast when you're done mixing.
