Disco 2 limp mode again

Hi all, and a happy new year to everyone!
I got a bit of a problem with my 02 disco td5 auto, any help would be very much appreciated..... The story so far..
02 disco td5 auto,she threw up a P0705 code xyz switch so I replaced with one from another disco I have, it worked for a couple weeks no problem, then one day back into limp mode so I did the gearbox oil and filter but to no avail.
The next step, I bought a new switch and the land rover tool to set it up {the one made by Lazer } set it up checked and rechecked that it was set right used vaseline to waterproof the plug reassembled it all reset the fault code with my hawkeye, drove 50 yards back into limp mode , Flashing M & S lights on the dash and flashing lights on the gear selector also the rear wiper stopped working { I was told there is a connection between them } have also replaced the ABS shuttle valve as suggested elsewhere.

Anybody got any ideas ??

Some people have reported trouble with the loom that passes over the top of the box to the XYZ getting frayed and shorting out. May be worth a look,

+1 for the loom, in most cases the problem is at the P clip on the transfer box
