may sound like a silly question but i've been offered a hardtop and rear door from a lightwieght, what i would like to know is will it fit on a standard 88" series 3?

far as I know, they're the same, so yes it will fit.

I stand corrected on this, but aren't "real" lightweight hardtops about as scarse as 101FC Vampires?
From what I can gather only a handful were supplied with roofs. The rest were all softops.

thats what i thought but i wanted to check before i got it incase it was narrower. think i will measure it first.

i had a regular sized truck cab on my lightweight before i sold the roof. it seamed to fit ok. sold it to a guy to put on his regular series 2, he's not come back saying it doesnt fit yet....
