Lightweight V8 LHD steering

Hi All,

Just wondered if I could pick some brains ?

I'm presently putting a v8 into a LHD series 3 lightweight. I have an adapter that mates the V8 onto the series 3 gearbox, but I'm finding that the exhaust manifold fouls the steering box.

Has anyone had the same problem, and if so what was the solution.

i had this problem years ago putting a buick 455 into something, i ended up making a set of manifolds to suit. lots of pipe bending and cursing but it did the trick.
