Lightweight landrover

Hello

I've just become the owner of a series 3 lightweight and I,m really pleased with it. The only problem I have is getting used to the pedals as they are quite high up. I was thinking of making a block to rest my feet on (making sure that the pedals still have clearance). Has anyone else encountered this problem and how did they solve it.
