Lightweight gearbox issues.

Morning men! Yesterday while towing a trailer my lightweight went bang and now the red leaver keeps popping out of high range. But still runs fine in low range. Also it only pops out when changing gear or pulling away. Is there an easy fix or do I just christen her the low Range Rover until I can afford a new box!

its the t/box thats the problem you could remove the top small square plate on the far rhs and check selector fork is tight and is locating high gear fully , check the detent isnt seized the brass cap just in front of plate, if it is worn dog teeth on high gear t box will need overhauling

Ok got it sorted turns out the pin at the bottom of the selector lever was so rusted it wouldn't fully Engage to high ratio so after a little clean up and grease she is working again! Thanks for the help! For a while I was thinking I'd need a new transfer box!
