Looking at buying a LHD 90, wondering is there much work/money involved?? it wouldnt be a particularly pressing issue, just curious has anyone dealt with it before? :)

no bother beasty, surely someone will have some experience :) i reckon things like the handbrake and steering..'rods?!' are re useable?! just a case of a new heater, pas box, pipes and brake pipes? any thoughts people??

@ Mick the X Builder :D

Went out and had a look, but your man wasnt there, the brother was, he spent the whole time telling me how he was hoping that it wouldnt sell because he wanted to keep it :D

Anyway, chassis looks perfect, not a slight sign of rust (its waxoiled so hard to really tell how it is) but had a good look/bang around and it looks grand, 200tdi engine, sweet as a nut, starts first turn no bother, only leak visable is from the timing cover seal by the looks of it but otherwise its grand, LT77 gearbox, seems fine, bit 'clicky' and sometimes hard to find first (probably due to the fact that i was sitting the wrong side of the gearbox :D ) clutch is fine, release bearing is probably on the way out though. The clock says 318000 miles, but doubt that counts for much considering the condition of the engine/gearbox/chassis. Body is perfect. winch is a 6500...superwinch i think? but looks unused, interior isnt too bad, but needs a bit of work to be right, dash electrics are a bit arseways, seats are very comfy too :)

anyway, took it for a drive, tis very smooth, and has loads of pull, but its not for me, the LDH would drive me insane, i kept winding the window down to change gear :)

Oh, are the owner is off some time this week coming so if your interested id say you'll get it for good money.

Hope this helps :)

 What are you trying to do to me!!
Things are a bit tight here at the mo so cant even look. Im holding out for a 110 that is currently in use for a london borough council. Apparently they are going to get rid after this winter because of the emision limits now set in London. My mate who works there has first dibs on it and will hand over to me. Fingers crossed. I know what you mean about left hand drive. If it was an auto it would have worked!
