Forget what, anyway?

Dunno, I think its summat to do with the old/dead/maimed dudes that fought in two world wars... and Corporate, Resolute, Granby, Banner, Herrick, Tellic, Grapple, Desert Storm and Desert Shield (amongst others).

Oh, you mean like my mate in the RMP, attached to 16AAB, executed with his own sidearm in Iraq.
Yeah, I think I'll remember.

I will never forget them, more so the personnel friends I lost during my 12 year service.

Yep, and six of my sisters mates from 4 Yorks (TA I know) who she served with in Afghan and had the pleasure of scraping their carbonised remains out of the Warrior they were travelling in when it hit a massive IED... It was only luck she wasn't in either Warrior.

My best mate with half a stomach and PTSD having been blown up in GW1.

My Great uncle killed on Sicily.

We all have them.

Massive respect if you served, I haven't but have had close family active in all conflicts since WWII.

It effects folk in different ways.
