Leaking Sun Roof ?

Sometimes depending on how the car is parked, water finds its way into the car and runs down the windscreen and all over the dash. So far this has knackered the radio/satnav. Someone suggested that this may be due to blocked drainage channels. Any ideas how to fix it, or also any other potential causes. Also deos anyone have the Harman Becker radio/satnav spare for a 2002 Series 2 TD5.

mine leaked, tried to mend it. Still leaked so i thought bugger it.

Still leaks now.

mine sealed with gaffer tape on the roof...
sunroofs that open are for pussys'

I just feel the seat before I get in. If it's wet I put something on it. Occasionally I get caught out going round the first bend n the morning and it ****es in down my neck or onto my lap. Bloody funny when an unsuspecting passenger cops it though.

Ive ad 2 discos now. A 300tdi that leaked from both sunrooves if parked facing downhill, and now a td5 that leaks from both sunrooves if parked facing uphill. Obvious cure is waterproof trousers

It actually makes me laugh when I get the odd droplet or two down me strides.

It kinda helps when you know that most Disco drivers are going through the same thing !!.

just got my first td5 disco and had the same problem replaced the sun roof seals and that made it a bit better so i pulled out the head lining (1 hours work) to find one of the drain pipes had snapt off super glued it back on then built the area up with epoxy no more leaks

I cured mine using clear silicone sealant- sunroof now sealed shut no more leaks

I still park my td5 facing downhill on a slight slope, stops the leaks for me
