Here is apparently a rare case according to land rover dealer, I got my 96 range rover 4.6 hse 3 wks ago, got into the car today after work and the rear view mirror had liquid murky coloured at the bottom of the mirror inside the glass i looked down at the dash and some type of oil had dripped onto the plastic i rubbed it off and to my horror it had melted the surface of the dash i located the leak it was dripping from the underside of the rear view mirror near the auto button. I called the dealer and he said in the workshop they had never seen that problem ever. has anyone heard of this before? what will it cost to replace? and does anyone know what the fluid would be thats burning the dash? any feedback would be greatly appreciated
