Went over to Le Mans this year with 7 mates....took the Gaylander with a car....cara....carva......(I can do it!)....CARAVAN.....

Borrowed the caravan from a mate for a bottle of whiskey (think he got the good deal here), and had a damn good time. The actually race is a bit of a yawn event really...but it was a damn good laugh. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone else. Gets damn hot tho...so tents were like saunas. Caravan was nice and cool tho. :D

Anywho...thought i'd share that with you peeps.

Get a smaller caravan for next year and you might just do it ;)

Seriously now (ahem) it sounds like a great trip. Any photos?

Did you see any ex-racing drivers saying "I remember when racing was REALLY racing, none of this modern computer-controlled rubbish. Kids today...." ?

Not sure the photos would do this site much good...ISP would have a fit and we'd only get all the loners doing 'dodgy' searches from Google checking your arse out.

I've got a few photos of the race, but it's the usual thing with these events...there's always some Dutch flag being waved in front of you!

I''ll dig through and see what's worthwhile.
