Late S3 Headlight Bezel Colour

Evening all. I have a late (1982) Series 3. I understand that the correct headlight bezel colour is silver on these latter models and not body coloured. I have bought and some replacement bezels which are bare aluminium but I assume these should be painted? Any idea on the correct silver colour and finish these should be?

My 84 is just unpainted ally, I believe that’s original

Ah ok that’s great. Means one less thing to try to paint
