Hello,
Looking at the new addition to the fleet. a Late 4A chassis number 04 Plate D2 TD5.
|it would appear LR changed the coolant pipework again. This has the square box fuel cooler in place of the tube design. plus the fuel cooler flow loops directly from the Inlet flow direction of the thermostat and returns to the outlet of the on the Bottom off side of the rad.
Does anyone have a diagram of this configuration please?
Also it would appear in the pipe running from the bootom OS of the rad to the fuel cooler has a restrictor / NRV in it, will remove and check.
Reason for checking this is that the car is running at a max temp if 74 C even on a run, Have changed the ECT sensor with no change in reading. Plus I have a new thermostat to replace what is in the vehicle. But beofre doing this I would like to confirm any other changes that are present from the previous version 15P cooling system.
Radiator gets hot on NS top approx 65 C,and is cold approx 28 C on the OS bottom. temp transition in diagonal across the rad.
