My landrover disc 3 2008 developed an EHB problem each time I tried to release it it screamed and then jammed. Finally I was towing a trailer stopped in a gateway to farm on 30* incline with 3 tonne in tow and it jammed and would not release so was forced to pull emergency release wire now the EPB will not re-engage and I have no hand brake - is there a reason and a fix for this please?

Hello all. This is my first Land Rover so please assume total ignorance. I parked up briefly and when I got back in the parking brake wouldn't come off. At the same time I noticed the fuel read zero, even though the tank was full. I think they are related. I had to pull the wire under the cup...
