Landie Almost bak on the road again

Got my landie going today well running without any smoke. I did the valve stem seals on it and it still kept smoking heaps then i found this pipe that ran from the oil filler spout to the inlet manifold or exaust not sure one of the two but i disconected that and blocked both ends off and it seems to be running fine now. Only thing is starter motor packed up just today lol so im getting new bushes and bearing for it tmorrow.
