Land Rover Theft soar 69% in some regions

Read this earlier this morning, latest figures from an insurer have stated that claim costs for theft of Defenders rose by 69% to £760,000 from 2014 to 2015 in the North East.

And over the whole UK, Land Rover Defender theft claims have cost insurers £1.8m in 2015, an increase of 8% since 2014.

Ridiculous!
 
On the news the other day the NFU claimed that since the last defender rolled off the production line thefts have gone up 75% in the south west
