Land Rover Engines - 'Green Tax'

Well... first off I clicked on your link, assuming that would take me to the thing you were talking about in your post - but it doesn't, the links is for the commercial website side of your farming concern - nice use of misdirection! If it was more blatant we'd be able to call it spam, dunno what you call that.

Secondly, I found the River Cottage forum thread, read it end to end and it really doesn't make interesting reading compared with the threads (and hijacked threads) we've already had on here about it.

River Cottage :: View topic - 'Green Tax' Fair or Not?

Where's the swearing and barracking in that thread eh? Nuffin like as intrestin' as it is 'ere!

Oh yes I do... at present there is no 'green tax' which favours 2WD vehicles over 4WD ones so if there are other vehicles which use the TD5 engine and which don't exceed the mass limits for PLG class taxation, then yes they are in the same RFL band.

As to what the Chancellor is plotting for the future, mine are flesh and blood mate, not crystal ;)
