Good morning all and happy new year!

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble with the front prop shaft on my discovery 2.

The prop shaft UJ has failed taking with it the outer casing of the prop on the double cardon end which means it's not as simple as changing the UJ :(

The current prop is yellow and doesn't appear to be a standard one, if it is... I can't find a replacement for the life of me.

Note that the shaft has been pulled out slightly on the single yolk side, would this be ok to do on a standard 610mm prop?

Standard props measure in at 610mm, but mine appears to be 637mm from point to point (on the vehicle).

Thank you all!

Apologies, yes it is lifted

Interestingly though I have taken the old prop off and pushed the shaft back in and it's now 610mm, which is a standard size... Am I just having a moment and actually that would make it fit correctly, because it would have to be extendable to fit between the diff and tranfer?

Don't buy shitpart.

Mine is fitted two years, gaiter gone, and starting to get noisy.

Will rebuild the original.

May be worth buying a S/H genuine

Yes but Britpart supply more than one option, buy the cheapest and it will be crap.
