Im rebuilding my Dash on my series 3 1974 Landrover 88. When I bought the Land Rover, like a lot of dash's it was in a decapitated state at the steering end, otherwise not too bad. However this meant also that the previous owner had "botched" securing the steering column part of the console by riveting it to the plastic that was left on the main console! that meant the steering console part was floppy, the indicator stalk wasnt fitting correctly and the Key barrel was loose! Now Ive got the entire dash off Im slowly rebuilding it where its rusted with thin Alluminium sheet before re covering it with new vinyl. However my problem Is I never saw how the steering column console was attatched to the main dash so havnt a clue at this point? Does anyone have any photos of there steering console dash they could put up so I Could see how it fits please? I live in the Outer Hebrides and theres only 1 more series 3 here to my knowledge so Ive nothing to go on up here... Was also suprised to see nothing on the inside of the steering colsole to stabilize the ignition key barrel? Or maybe there was once???? Help please would be extremely helpful from you Land Rover Exsperts ![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
