Land Rover CD Player

Hi All

I have a 2001 Freelander TD4 which currently has the cassette/CD changer combo originally fitted.

I recently got a Land Rover CD Player from a 2003 Freelander cheap from a breaker and I note it has what appears to be a fairly standard ISO type connector.

Question is would a half its etc. adaptor for the current BMW connector work and still control the cd change and steering wheel controls?

Changing the car to ISO connections isn't difficult. From memory the earlier CD won't work with the later stereo and vise versa. Steering wheel controls are a basic resistive ladder and should still work.
