I have got an ex-MoD 1983 Land Rover 90 with a 2.5 NA diesel engine. I have been told that converting it to power steering is fairly straight forward provided that you can get hold of the parts. Because the vehicle is a FFR version, it already has an additional (and now un-used) grove on the front pulley wheel. I understand that I need a PAS pump (from a 300TDi) and a PAS steering box, but more importantly a bracket and a plate to mount the pump to the engine. Can someone please tell me the part numbers for these two parts?
