Lancashire newby

Hi all!

Recently bought myself a 1996 defender90 2.5 tdi & live in the Blackburn area of Lancashire.

Is anybody in any local land rover clubs? If so, who are the friendliest & bestest to join?

I use my defender for work & getting around, so i don`t want to destroy it by driving over cliffs & stuff like that, but i have heard that 'greenlaning' can be fun. My mate has a freelander at the moment, & i tell him i`ll be able to tow him out of the snow this next winter.

I`m not mechanically minded at all, so i`ll probably be visiting this site quite often & asking stupid questions like "where`s the oil checky thing?"....so please be patient with me. LOL!!

Have a look in one of the monthly mags, they have club listings.

Many thanks Wesley. I`ve heard there`s a club (red rose) only about 8miles from where i live, so i`m going to 'make contact' & see how it goes.
