Like all Freelanders I had the issue with slow moving off from stationary.
I did the egr mod and the BMW filter thingy mod and it was like a normal car moving off from stationary.
Over the last week, it has reverted to slow acceleration on move off. It has plenty of power when on the move and can easily reach normal speeds and accelerate up hills.
So, I suppose the question is can egr mods eventually fail? I am sure the blanked egr I purchased was a decent one.
If this is not my issue, what could it be.
No smoke at any time as far as I can tell, just the slow moving off from stationary.
I have put some injector cleaner in the tank, but after half a tank there is no improvement.
FL1 TD4 2006. Done about 66K miles.
