Hello guys, I am struggling to get my 2004 L322 TD6 engine warm, the ECT reaches 60 deg C after 30 minutes driving. I have changed the thermostat but temperature still only reaches 60 deg celcius. I am not sure if my FBH burns properly but there are no fault codes coming up that have to do with this. Do any of you have any suggestions as to this problem.

Is the viscous fan stuck on?
Do you hear the FBH running? you should hear a clicking at rear of the car for the FBH fuel pump.
What about the second thingy? I can't find my receipt to find out what it's called but I just had the 'thermostat' changed because mine would heat up then drop right down. They changed the thermostat that was the usual suspect, with no joy. So changed the other thingy too. That did the trick. But being non-techy and only half listening to Colin I'm not sure where it's situated.

The viscous fan works perfekt, I can hold it back when the engine is cold. When I start the FBH on my timed climate I can hear it burning and my cabin gets warm. But I have never heard it when my engine is running. I also hear the clicking from the fuel pump during cabin warm up
