Happy New Year!!
I have an issue with the old girl that seems to have started after wading during recent heavy rain. Car starts fine when cold but once warned up won't start again after being turned off for a short period, for example after getting fuel. I have to wait anything up to 10 minutes and then it will start again, runs and idles fine just won't start straight away when warm.
I plugged in my foxwell diagnostic and have two error codes:
P0380 Glow Plug Relay Defective
P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Malfunction Static Defect.
I think the glow plug error has always been there and as it starts even when really cold the hot stating problem is caused by the second error.
Am I right in thinking this is the crankshaft position pulse sensor, I have read elsewhere that it causes this sort of behaviour? If so does anyone know the correct part number? I have seen Bosch ones advertised for around 40 quid, are Bosch ok or should I be looking at a genuine Land Rover one? My other car is a Merc and I have had issues with non Merc branded sensors on there so don't want to repeat similar mistakes.
Thanks in advance
