Hi, Back again after a few years away playing with Jaguar XKRs and newer Range Rovers but felt the itch for another L322 Supercharged.
Purchased a 2007 model with known faults ( I know, I know..stupid ) but had a great service history and drove really well.
I hope someone out there can help me with this.
Ignition on flashing handbrake light no movement from handbrake, as you start the car the terrain control faults out and messages terrain control unavailable and the Amber light goes out on the rotary dial.
I do have an old version of SDD and with that I can actuate the handbrake on and off so looks like that works ok but somewhere I'm assuming there is a comms breakdown, my SDD apparently needs updating which it wont do so i have limited functionality. Looking through the comprehensive history there are repair bills for harness repairs for rodent damage a few years and and I'm wondering whether this might be the cause again.
Basically I'm just looking for an idea of the best place to start, I'm assuming the centre console needs to come out first to inspect the modules in there and I believe there are also some key connections under the seats.
There are a couple of other faults which I dont think are related, the drivers window will only go down and needs the relay to be forced to go up and whilst the air suspension goes up and down it takes a long time to settle, won't go into low range (probably due to terrain control fault) but other than that runs and drives great.
Whilst I'm great with the oily bits on a car I'm not very good with electronics so any help or advice wold be gratefully received.
Cheers
