L322 Rumble at speed

L322 TD6 2002
Hi guys leaving for the Lakes at 10pm (I am in Portsmouth) and its going to be her first 1500 mile week away.
Took her out 100 miles last night to check she was not gonna break !
I did find (I have a noisy rear wheel bearing) at 65-70 there is a rumble, you can make it come and go by either acce;erating or de-cellerating it is kind of in-between push pull, no clonks or knocks, have also noticed at the ligthts in gear there is at times a vibration seems to be rear when in drive but in neutal it gos away, I am thinking a bush with some play in it maybe ?
Just asking as you guys are sure to have had the likes of this.
No vibrating rear veiw mirror and is slight I am very sensitive, think its one of them.....drive and find outs what do you reckon ?

I am staying with Mrs and kids at Windermere if anyone is up and wants to say hello.

Hope the first leg of the week went without any nasty surprises.
Re: “think its one of them.....drive and find outs what doyou reckon ?” I find most are like that because if it drives and stops it’s great to just enjoy the moment and eventually it gets loud enough you know exactly where it’s coming from.
I keep my RAC card next to my Organ Donor card that way if it goes horribly wrong someone else will benefit and the wreckage can be recovered FOC.

I didn't want to put another worry in the back of your mind but have you thought of the torque converter lock up clutch?

Yes I have lol
It's not that noise thank god, may have got it, went up kirkstone pass and on way down a knocking sound, I have looked and the exhaust heat shield in the center seems to have come downwards and loose but with my back I can't get to it.
Do you know If any members around windermere that have a ramp pit I could see to help ?
