Your help is required! Next September the entrants in LANDY RALLY Euro Land Rover Charity Drive will be tackling 8 countries in 7 days (see post within this forum entitled Off-Roading for details).
Although designated as a non-speed event, with 2,300 miles to cover it is inevitable some of the 100 competing teams will need mechanical assistance along the way. From a simple contact points failure to major transmission problems, to know of a reputable independent Land Rover specialist in the locality would be soooooooooooooo useful!
Can you recommend such a company? Have you had dealings with a Land Rover or 4x4 dealership on your continental travels who have been friendly, competent and fair? If so, please let us know. Bearing in mind we pop in and out of the countries en route, the approximate event route is as follows:-
Calais, Lille (France)
Tournai, Waterloo, Bastogne (Belgium)
City of Luxembourg (Luxembourg)
Saarbrücken (Germany)
Haguenau (France)
Freiburg Im Breisgau (Germany)
Basel, Bern, Lausanne (Switzerland)
Aosta (Italy)
Val dIsére, Lanslebourg Mont-Cenis (France)
Susa (Italy)
Gap, Orange, Perpignan (France)
Andorra-la-Vella (Andorra)
Le Seu dUrgell, Pamplona (Spain)
Bayonne, Bordeaux, Saintes, Niort, Poitiers, Tours, Rouen, Abbeville, Calais (France)
Likewise, if youve ripped off at any 4x4 / Land Rover garages en route, we want to know about them as well to cross them off the list!
