Knocking Noise in Drive and not reverse

I have recently fitted a prop to my 2003 TD4 auto and have got a constant knocking noise that increases with speed, the noise worsens when turning and i can’t seem to diagnose what the problem could be, it makes no noise when in reverse is it the prop or does anyone know how i could diagnose the issue?

Go back to what you did last and check over it. Did the noise happen straight after the work you carried out?

IRD or rear diff are often the cause of knocking sounds before catastrophic failure.

When you say ‘recently fitted’… do you mean there wasn’t there beforehand?
If so, that’ll be the reason it was missing - most get removed due to IRD/diff issues, as @Nodge68 mentions.
