My wife has just purchased a Freelander 2, she is a nurse in a rural community and needs a reliable 4x4. She has asked me to work out how to set her milometer so she can record the distance of her journey. I have failed to do so. Can anyone please tell me how to record distance travelled so she can trip it back to zero after every trip.

This may help.

or this link.

There are 2 mileage trips IIRC, but it does depend on model.
On the end of the LR stalk, there a button that scrolls through the display options. One is trip distance, so when that is displayed, simply press and hold the button again, and it will reset to zero. There's another on some models, which is displayed by pressing the button on the Ipack itself, again press and hold to reset.
Not all models have both, but all should have the Ipack button trip.

Thank you for your reply, I will go try it.
