Having lurked around this really useful group for
a while, I'm now seriously thinking of buying a
Kia Sorento.
Excellent value that it is, a new one (from
£18,000) is a bit too much; as the model's been
available for less than a year, even second-hand
vehicles (from £17,000) are still a bit more than
the bank manager would welcome.
20 years ago I personally-imported a
UK-specification Opel Manta from Belgium (did it
all myself - saved £500! Wow.). Does anyone know:
1. is the import-from-Europe method relevant to
Kia cars? If it is:
2. what kind of savings on a Sorento?
3. who do I contact?
