How long have you owned this RR?
Isn't there a known solinoid fault on the steering column?Hi, I had a similar issue and started by applying a little penetrating fluid in the switch before tearing the dash apart. Remarkably after some jiggling and making sure there was at least 13 volts in the battery it started to work again, took about 48 hours wait though.
Let us know how you get on and if you still need assistance. Don’t be lead by fault codes they can be a blind ally if your battery is low.

Sorry missed your post earlier, yes there are many known faults on the L322 Steering Column to be fair but reading some posts and other search info it occurs to me that some owners are too quick to replace parts when all they really need is a good battery charge and a little patience. I still have an unused Immobiliser Module sold to me by a supposed Land Rover Specialist...!!
Although, parts may be required...time will tell but I like to do the free things first if I can.Welcome To LandyZone, the Land Rover Forums!
